Television
For my documentary if I wanted to broadcast it on the BBC they offer a standard price of £250 per minute, as my documentary is roughly about 60 minutes long is would cost around £15,000. This is very important research for my distribution because I feel that if I got it out on television it would be able to get to a wider range of audience.

Cinema
I could distribute my film in cinema chains so people can pay to see my film but the only factor of this is that it will be an expensive process to distribute this way. This is very important research for my distribution because this way I will be able to get to the target audience I want.
Online
I could possibly distribute my film online which would be on YouTube, people can share the video to Facebook and other social media websites which could reach my target audience as there are teenagers and young adults who mainly use YouTube and social media websites. This is very important research for my distribution because this way I feel it would get to my target audience at a fast speed.
DVD
I could possibly distribute my film by DVD. By doing this I could distribute the DVD's to local schools in the Banstead/Surrey area so I am able to educated young people living in Banstead that there is things to do within the area they are living in.
The type of placement I would use is broadcast because I want to broadcast on a national level what there is to do in the Banstead area.
